This Bunch of Celebs Tweeted The Exact Same Thing, At The Same Time

Supported by

Sunday night saw some bizarre activity on Twitter as many Bollywood celebrities and influencers tweeted about the same thing, at the same time and in the same pattern to promote Reliance Jio. Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio(4G)’s  launch event created a buzz with the topic being a top trend on Twitter on Sunday. It remained a top trend from 4 pm to 12 midnight.

This just shows how everything which trends on social media is not always organic but sometimes manufactured. Obviously there’s nothing wrong in it, it’s just another social media marketing tool/medium where celebreties and influencers get paid for tweeting about a particular topic to make it trend. There’s nothing wrong in it unless you as a social media user don’t fall for it and you are wise enough to make out the difference between a organic tweet and a paid tweet. Just because your favorite celebrity is endorsing something, doesn’t mean that you follow it blindly.
