Protests and Police Response 

Hundreds of activists from the Hindu Sikh Global Forum gathered outside the Canadian High Commission on November 10, chanting slogans against the violence that occurred on November 3 at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton. Protesters clashed with police barricades as security was heightened to maintain order during the protest. Tarvinder Singh Marwah, president of the forum, condemned the attacks and emphasized a troubling pattern of violence against their communities.

Peel Regional Police announced the arrest of Inderjeet Gosal, a 35-year-old man, in connection with the violent altercation at the Hindu Sabha temple in Brampton on November 3. He was charged with assault with a weapon and is scheduled to appear in court later.

2. 8 November – Priest Reinstated After Controversial Suspension
Rajinder Parsad, the priest of the Hindu Sabha temple, was suspended on November 5 for his controversial speech calling for Hindu unity after the attack. He was reinstated two days later following a review by temple authorities.

3. 4 November – Pro-Khalistani Protest Escalates into Violence
A protest by pro-Khalistani activists near the Hindu Sabha temple turned violent on November 3, resulting in physical altercations where individuals used flags and sticks as weapons against Hindu devotees. This incident led to heightened tensions and police intervention.

4. 3 November – Violent Attack on Hindu Devotees
On November 3, a demonstration at the Hindu Sabha temple escalated into violence as pro-Khalistani extremists attacked Hindu devotees during a consular event co-organized by the temple and the Indian Consulate. Videos of the incident showed chaotic scenes of fighting and aggression.

5. 2 November – Community Concerns Raised Ahead of Protests
In anticipation of potential clashes, community leaders expressed concerns about rising tensions between Hindu and pro-Khalistani groups in Brampton, urging local authorities to ensure safety during upcoming events related to Diwali celebrations.
