Kohinoor, one of the world’s oldest and famous diamonds, has a long history of more than 5,000 years. From its discovery in the 13th Century, the diamond has change hands of many dynasties like the Kakatiya, Khilji, Mughals, Persians. Later it came to India, but with the signing of treaty of Lahore, it went to the hands of Queen Victoria of England. For years, the Kohinoor has brought many wars and that’s why it’s considered as bad luck. Now it belongs to England’s royal family and is fitted to the Queen’s crown.
