The Indian Prime Minister now features on a personalised Turkish postage stamp. The G 20 summit conducted on 15-16 November, 2015, was convened at Antalya, Turkey, among the heads of governments of the G20 nations, including PM Narendra Modi.

The Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, presented 33 personalised stamps, featuring the 19 heads of states present at the summit as a token of remembrance. The stamps are being considered a collection issued in honour of the leaders of the most powerful economies in the world today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi now features on a stamp of 2.80 Turkish lira, with the subscript ‘Narendra Modi – Prime Minister of Republic of India’. Other leaders featured on the stamps include US President Barack Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau, and UK PM David Cameron.

A stamp was also issued in honour of the French President, Francois Hollande, who had to cancel his visit to the summit in the wake of the Paris terror attack.
