Alert: Drugs With Manufacturing Year Of ‘2016’ are Already In The Market

Supported by

This is shocking and very dangerous for consumers. As per images shared with us by many of our community members, a pack of a drug called FLAME (Ibuprofen, paracetamol and caffeine combination) has been found with manufacturing date of April 2016.

Playing with the lives of consumers has become a joke for these companies. What is even more saddening is that this time it’s not an MNC but an Indian firm called Vishal Pharmaceuticals who has been caught. Incorrect manufacturing and expiry dates on medicines can have lethal consequences for patients. Expired medicines lose part or all of their potency, which means these medicines are no longer as effective as they should be. Some medicines tend to become unstable on prolonged storage too, and therefore it is highly recommended not to use medicines part their expiry date. In short, a patient who expects a medicine to cure him may not get any better if the medicine is an expired one, thus threatening his well-being and life.

The Logical Indian urges our community members to be vigilant while purchasing and consuming any medicines and immediately report any such cases that are noticed. It is high time that companies take our health seriously and stop their evil game of profitmaking at the cost of our lives.
