A Battle Against Cancer
Deeba’s fight against cancer began during her second year of law school when she was diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue sarcoma. In her own words, she shared: “When cancer got diagnosed the first time my survival rate was just 5% but with all your blessings, prayer, and love I fought my cancer back… Now this is the third time it relapsed and now the survival rate has increased to 70% according to the doctors.”
