Saina Nehwal Trolls A ‘Fan’ After Qualifying For The Quarter-Finals Of Macau Open

Indian badminton ace Saina Nehwal trolled a critic on Twitter after her pre-quarter final win against Indonesia’s Dinar Dyah Ayustine in the Macau Open. In the hard-fought encounter, the 26-year-old shuttler won the match 17-21 21-18 21-12.

The current world number 11 has been making a return from a horrific injury she suffered during the Rio Olympics earlier this year. She had sustained an intra-articular injury to her right knee and a small fragment of bone has separated from her patella.

Making a comeback from such an injury takes time, something that the particular fan probably has no idea of. Some of the other Twitter users also came out in Saina’s support and mocked the assailant.
