The word ‘teacher’ has different meanings for each one of us. Some remember them as the strict person who never missed a chance to yell at us, again some remember them as a friend and a mentor. It entirely depends on the different phases we have been through. But one thing is certain for almost every one of us — they have taught us some precious lessons and values in our lives that have shaped us to the person who we are. As special as every teacher is, we remember those who helped us to stimulate our thought process and helped us to think beyond our studies. They have shaped our perspectives, taught us to be helpful to every other person without expecting anything in return. It is also them who taught us to evaluate and reason everything with logic and rationality and not blindly following others. With their teachings, we have learnt to evolve with the situation, find a solution to our problems and sometimes adjust with the situation. Every teacher is a gem, they have somehow helped us to grow as a complete human being, working on our strengths and weaknesses.

Honesty, compassion, love for others and for oneself, to see the goodness in others and to help someone, we thank our teachers for imbibing these characteristics on us.
