This Palestinian Woman Has A Unique Garden With Flowers Grown In Bombs

About 400 tonnes of explosives were dropped on Gaza over a period of two days during the raids in 2014. Such is the magnitude of the artillery and ammunition that the population of Gaza is exposed to.

Amidst the chaos and destruction, this Palestinian woman is doing something which is hard to describe by words. she is watering dozens of plants grown from used tear gas canisters collected in clashes with Israeli soldiers during protests against the West Bank occupation.

Amidst the horror of being bombed by some of the deadliest weapons the world had witnessed, it is indeed a beautiful sight to see what this Palestinian woman is doing.

Perhaps these pictures are symbolic of what the solution could be to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, flowers have to replace bombs and explosives to ensure lasting peace in the region where Palestinians & Israelis could live together with mutual respect in peace and prosperity.
