Army Officer Heals With Hugs
After three months of unbridled tension in the valley, efforts are on for “Operation Calm Down” in Kashmir. The army is putting up their best efforts to bring normalcy among the lives of people, restoring law and order.

One of them, Colonel Dharmendra Yadav, who is incharge of the sensitive Anantnag district, every day takes out his jeep and goes to his “Area of Responsibility” (AOR). There he mingles with the people, particularly the children.

Gurgaon resident Col Yadav, was in the team that took out Burhan Wani and aides in the Bumdoora village encounter. He goes out and affectionately offer his hugs that he calls ‘Jadoo Ki Jhappi’, inspired by Sanjay Dutt starrer movie “Munnabhai MBBS”.

Children in the area calls him “Army uncle”.
