May 29th, 2015

Arunima Sinha’s story is one of great determination and perseverance. Not only is she is the first female amputee to climb the Mount Everest, she is also a source of inspiration for millions of people who find it difficult to overcome their circumstances and achieve greatness.

At 24 years of age, she lost one of her legs in a train accident. Any other person would have wanted to give up, but Arunima found great courage even in those difficult circumstances and decided to climb Mount Everest on one leg, an achievement that was rewarded with a Padma Shri earlier this year.

Watch this video to find out how Arunima managed to achieve this seemingly impossible feat in just four steps.
