So far we came across many incidents where the consumers were cheated, and it has somehow removed the blinkers from our eyes. Sometimes it is seen that the manufacturers along with the distributors or the shopkeepers deliberately sell products that are expired or the date of packing is itself changed.

Money making has always been a part of business strategy but exploitation? Well it has been there since medieval age but sometimes it crosses all limits. In order to sell their products the shopkeepers sell the products which have already been perished.

Arpit Shukl ordered a product from an online grocery store which delivered the product where the date was overwritten with a marker. The attached picture will clearly tell you that 2/11 is overwritten with a marker and changed to 2/12. I felt cheated and felt like going against the store.

I want to warn the consumers that don’t fall prey to the unethical practices adopted by any store and take a stern action against them so that they don’t take us for granted.

The trust of consumers emboldens any business organisation to do something better but there are cases where the trust is taken for granted and ultimately the consumers become the victim. So consumer awareness is very necessary.

Please always check the dates when you buy from online grocery stores. They dont think anything apart from money. See…
