In a bid to align with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and following the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh state government has unveiled plans for the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra,' scheduled to take place from November 15th to January 26th across the state.

The primary objective of this yatra is to promote and publicize various government schemes at multiple levels, ensuring that the benefits of these initiatives reach eligible individuals, as outlined by government officials. The initiative is also set to involve the registration of eligible beneficiaries for different schemes during the course of the journey.

A government spokesperson stated, “The urban development department has issued directives to all municipal commissioners and executive officers of municipalities and nagar panchayats regarding the yatra.”

Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department, Amrit Abhijat, highlighted the significance of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, emphasizing its role in effectively delivering the benefits of public facilities and government schemes to the most vulnerable segments of the population through active public participation in the urban bodies of the state.

The yatra is poised to play a crucial role in amplifying the reach and impact of government initiatives, fostering community engagement, and ensuring that the advantages of these programs are accessible to those who stand to benefit the most. As the state gears up for this extensive journey, the government aims to strengthen its commitment to inclusive development and welfare for the people of Uttar Pradesh.
