The 10th Asia-Pacific Deaf Games 2024 took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from December 1 to December 8, 2024, providing a remarkable platform for athletes with hearing impairments to showcase their incredible talent and determination.

Among the standout performances was the Indian women’s doubles table tennis team, featuring Shiney Gomes and Subhechchha Roy, who clinched a bronze medal after an impressive run in the tournament.

Vinith also secured gold in the men’s 400m event on December 6, while Sameeha Barvin Mujib won gold in the women’s 100m hurdles.

Judo Success

Indian judokas excelled as well, securing two gold medals and three bronze medals during the competition. Milanmeet Kaur and Sakshi Bansode emerged victorious in their respective weight categories, further enhancing India’s standing in judo.
