Sanjeeb Patel is the Director of Software Engineering for the Sabre Travel Solutions Product Development group at the Sabre Global Capability Center in Bengaluru. Sanjeeb joined Sabre Corporation in March 2019 and leads the (Bengaluru) team behind the corporate booking platform - GetThere™. Prior to joining Sabre, Sanjeeb worked with the Walmart Group where he spent more than 13 years in their US and India offices, assuming various roles. Before joining Walmart, Sanjeeb worked for companies like Franklyn Templeton, Life Technologies and startups like Shutterfly Inc in the Bay Area (California) and John Deere in Illinois. Before moving to the US in 2000, Sanjeeb worked for Wipro Technologies and Tata Infotech in India, after completing his B. Tech in Electrical Engineering at C.E.T. Bhubaneswar (Orissa). In his spare time, Sanjeeb devotes his time for social causes. He has founded a college with the objective of spreading the light of higher education in a remote part of India, providing facilities to deserving students and helping their overall development. He also enjoys writing and writes blogs in various areas.
