#LetsTalk: TLI Members Respond To Whether We Give Farmers Enough Importance In Our Country

Right now, farmers across two states – Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh – are protesting for better prices for their produce and for loan waivers as they are burdened by debt leading to suicides.

The Maharashtra protests have led to a state-wide bandh while the protests in MP took a violent turn today and four protestors were shot dead.

Do we give enough importance to farmers in our country? What can be done to solve agricultural issues in India so that our farmers don’t suffer?
