Aam Aadmi Party: Not A Party With A “Difference”

Supported by

The recent rift between AAP leaders has brought out all the filth that had been kept hidden so far. A party which claimed to be different and aspired to change the political dynamics of our nation is showing the same character as that of the traditional political parties. A party founded on the principle of Swaraj, transparency & political accountability has sadly failed to live by these principles.

A recent sting video and Prashant Bhushan’s letter revealed that the AAP tried to break away a few MLAs from the Congress to form their government in Delhi. Considering the current political standards this is a common practice, but today questions are being raised on AAP as they claimed to be “different”. But AAP seems to have compromised with its own morals, something that is unexpected and unacceptable.

Prove your promise on Transparency and Accountability :

Put the list of paid/unpaid volunteers & expenditure report of all the elections you have fought till now on the website.

Real time update of minutes of every meetings held, actions taken by the party and the government on the website.

Don’t just claim to be under RTI, implement it in your party in true sense. Over the time, your own volunteers have raised questions on you over RTI.

Before proposing Swaraj for the whole nation, implement & practice it first in your own party. Forget about listening to your own volunteers who are the backbone of your party, your own party leaders’ voice are taken as dissent and anti-party.

While your party claim to be an epitome of austerity, after winning Delhi Elections, you have filled whole Delhi with hoardings/posters congratulating Delhi for making you win. Later, Arvind Kejriwal gave a statement that they are against such practices but it doesn’t seem so. Newspapers are getting filled with full page advertisements, just to convey that you have delivered your promises, which doesn’t make any sense! If you are delivering your promises, people of Delhi are smart enough to realize it. Posters of MLAs are also seen all over the streets wishing HOLI to the people.

Before you justify that these expenses are from any State advertisement/promotional funds, we suggest you to use these funds for a better cause. Use these funds to create Informative advertisements, spread health awareness,  Citizen Empowerment, or any such useful purposes.

We believe Delhi didn’t vote for such a government. Political transparency and accountability should be objective of every political party.
