When The Same Train Is Inaugurated 6 Times – Courtesy Our Politicians!

The state of Uttar Pradesh is poll bound in the coming year though the exact dates have not been announced yet. We all know that this is (perhaps) the only time when all political parties and candidates are busy wooing their constituency members. Hence, obviously, all the political parties in UP are actively campaigning and going the extra mile for the win. Recently, a train was run between Allahabad and Kanpur. But the twist in the tale is that the same train has been inaugurated by political leaders for six times! All of them gave the green signal for the start of the train.

The name of the train is Kanpur-Prayag Express. The train numbers are 14101 and 14102. It departs from Prayag station at 4:35 pm and reaches Kanpur Central at 9:50 pm. A number of stations fall en-route with a total distance of 208 km – Unnav, Raghuraj Singh, Bighapur, Dalmau, Jalalpur, Unchahar, Gadhi, Maanikpur, Kunda, Harnamganj, Lalgopalganj, and Fafamau. The people who live near these stations are elated with joy. However, the happiest are those political leaders who are taking the credit for this train.

On 4th July, BJP MP from Kanpur, Murli Manohar Joshi cut the ribbon and showed the green flag. His picture came in the newspapers for the event.

After that on 5th Unnao MP, Sakshi Maharaj sent his friend Priyank Arya to show the green flag. Then came the turn of Kaushambi BJP MP Vinod Sonkar. He went a step further and decorated the train like a bride and inaugurated it at the Lalgopalgunj station.

The list of inaugurations did not end here. Next in line was the senior-most politician of BJP, that is, BJP State President, Keshav Prasad Maurya who is MP from Fulpur. He went to the Prayag station and inaugurated the train for another time!

The Logical Indian team is appalled at this ridiculous strategy adopted by the politicians in order to fool the public! It is completely justifiable to take the credit for work genuinely done. However, such misleading tactics are to be strongly condemned.
