Patriarchy exists every where. Its all pervasive. This short film, produced for ActionAid India, takes you into the lives of three women, who bear the brunt of an unjust, unfair system. Each minute of the short will reveal to you a story, that is evocative and poignant.

The story portrayed in the video is reality of many villages in India. One of such village is Denganmal, 150 km from Mumbai, where a man marries multiple wives so just they can fetch water for the family. Read the story here:
