This incident took place in Godda, Jharkhand. The girl named Malti had lost her parents at a very tender age. She now lives with her maternal grandmother, who is very old, and her younger brother who is less than 7 years in age. Consequently, Malti became mature and responsible at a very young age.

Malti lives in the tribal area of Godda in Jharkhand which lacks even the basic amenities of life. Her brother had been suffering with fever for a long time. The fever was not subsiding. Therefore, Malti had to carry him on her arms to the hospital.

When she reached the hospital the doctors told to go to Sadar Hospital of Godda, but this time she did not have to carry him on foot. When the staff at Godda saw her dedication towards her brother, they came forward to help her. A local worker named Bhagat took the two children to the hospital.

The place from where Malti comes is economically backward but not when it comes to political activities, Jarkhand former chief minister Hemant Soren from this place. We salute the dedication and courage of this angelic child but this also points to the apathy of political class.
