Late on Tuesday, November 26, a 25-year-old student from a law university in Ranchi was abducted and gang-raped by a group of armed men. Police have arrested 12 people, who have confessed to the crime.
The woman was abducted from a spot which is about 8 km from the chief minister’s official residence on Kanke Road. The new police line is also close to the area.
