Pankaj Jain was traveling on the Yesvantpur-Bikaner train with his sick father. He has to deboard at Merta Road where train reaches at 3:15 am and stop for 5 min, so he was worried as how he and his sick father would deboard the train.

He called one of his friend in Bengaluru who suggested him to tweet to railway ministry. He tweeted to railway ministry stating his problem that he needs a wheelchair as his father is paralysis patient, Railway ministry immediately responded to the tweet saying that needful will be done. To his surprise as soon as train reached station at 8:30 am, the station master, coolies and railway staff were waiting with a wheelchair at the platform.

They helped him and his father in getting off and escorted them to the gate. NWR chief public relation officer Tarun Jain said to Hindustan Times “I got the tweet from rail ministry and immediately we made sure that railway staff along with wheel chair were available for the person in need at the railway station.

Jain and family were taken care at the Merta Road station.” Earlier this week Namrata Mahajan tweeted to Suresh Prabhu asking for help when fellow male passenger started to harass her. Taking immediate action, she was attended by RPF jawans station and the Jawans shifted the male passenger to other coach.

The Logical Indian community appreciates the alertness of Railway ministry and also hope that the Indian railway reaches to a new height in coming years.
