Needless to mention that Swami Ramdev had immensely contributed towards creating awareness on health and healthy lifestyle. However, this comes as a shocker when officials of the Food Safety and Drug Administration department tumbled upon two 1-kg packs of Aawla Murabba (manufactured by Patanjali Ayurveda), which mentioned the date of manufacturing of the Murabba as October 20, 2016, while its expiry date has been mentioned as October 19, 2017.

Interestingly, this sample of Murabba was available for sale in the market. The sample was taken from a retail shop located in Kalyanpur Ring Road.

The Logical Indian urges our community members to be vigilant while purchasing and consuming any products from the market, especially medicines and immediately report any such cases that are noticed. It is high time that private companies take their business and our health seriously and be honest while revealing their products’ manufacturing or expiry dates.
