On July 1, the young girl was abducted and raped in Shastri Nagar, Jaipur. The family of the victim filed a complaint on the same day.

The girl was found near her house on the night of July 1 and was immediately taken to a local hospital where the doctors shifted her to JK Lone Hospital and described her condition as ‘stable’.

Multiple protests erupted after the shocking incident and the Police arrested 16 people in connection with the protest.

We have registered a case and arrested 16 people,” said Jaipur Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava to ANI.

“The culprit lured the girl from near her house into a vehicle around 8 pm on Monday and raped her. After two hours, he dropped her at the same spot where she was picked up. A medical checkup was conducted and a case registered. Several teams were working to nab the officer,” he added.
