To make the process of registrations hassle free, Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan will be launching the Sahaj online LPG connections to the new LPG consumers.

The facility will be simultaneously launched at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna and Pune.

The new system would be available on the websites of each oil company and the government’s LPG portal. Pahal , under which customers are already enjoying the benefit of Direct Benefit Transfer on LPG, is expanding itself to avoid corruption caused due to black marketers and middlemen.

With the help of mylpg.in consumers can register a new connection online. It will enable the customers to post the request online for a new connection by filing Know Your Customer (KYC) form which will carry the personal details of the prospective customer.

As per the reports carried out by NewIndianExpress the minister said, “It will verified within 48 hours and a person from the nearest LPG agency will deliver a new connection at the door-step in next 3-4 days.”

Customers will have the benefit of selecting the mode of payments i.e. by credit cards/debit cards or net banking. Electronic subscription voucher will be emailed to the customer and physical delivery of the Gas cylinder, regulator with host pipe will be made by the distributor.

In addition to this, the government is also planning to launch the sale of LPG in 2kg bottles at local kirana stores, which will benefit financially weaker families and the students who have a stay for short duration at any place and do not have any address proof to register for the 14.2kg cylinders.

You can get new connection by filling this form.
