CCTV Footage: Accident Victim Dies Unattended On Delhi Road, Phone Got Stolen But Nobody Helped

Inhumanism
The height of insensitivity and apathy seems to be scaling up in the country as a 30-year-old man dies on the road unattended after he was hit by a speeding mini truck in Delhi’s Subhash Nagar. Police reports claimed that the man was lying on the road for more than an hour but yet no passer-by were bothered to come up and help him. Finally, the police arrived and took him to the hospital where he was declared “dead”.

No land for victims
This is not all, what is more, shocking is that CCTV visuals of the area showed a rickshaw-puller stopping by the victim and stealing the mobile phone fallen from his pocket. The victim was later identified as Matibul (30), hailing from West Bengal, who worked as a security guard at an office in Subhash Nagar. The accident happened when he was on his way back home.

The Logical Indian is appalled by the behavior of common citizens, it is not just a malaise associated with the national capital but something which everyone has to introspect where we as citizens and humans are heading towards when such incidents are allowed to happen amidst us.
