At A State Minister's Public Meeting, Two Girls Complain Of Groping & Molestation By A Party Leader's Son

During a public meeting in Palwal, Haryana, two sisters started crying out loud in front of State Minister Karndev Kamboj. Everyone present at the meeting was shocked when the sisters told the minister about a son of a BJP leader who molest them while they go to school and also ‘try his hands on their chest’ (quote).

The sisters had even complained about it to the Police, but no steps were taken. They raised questions on “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”. They asked if the leaders teach others’ daughters to study, so that while going to school and college the son of the leaders can make obscene gestures and molest them.

The sisters said that on June 9, they lodged a police complaint in respect of the son of the leader but he is still free. The girls could not speak and were crying bitterly. They said the police is keeping the pressure on them for Rajiname (compromise) and also being threatened by the boy. The two girls are students and travel all the way from their village Kambi, by bus to their college. On the way, at Dighot, leader’s son Lokesh passes vulgar comments on them.

The Minister then went silent on the complaint. But Deputy Collector Ashok Kumar Sharma ordered DSP Manish Sehgal for a probe. Now the police have registered a case. But the accused is still absconding and police are searching him to take in custody.

The Logical Indian denounces such acts of harassments and hooliganism by Netas and their relatives. And hope police acts promptly and shows some confidence in the public that nobody is above the law and can get away from punishment.
