My Story: What An Experience That Was, They Are The Richest People I Met

Supported by

My today’s experience, I was buying veggies for my birds then this blind couple passed by. This old lady reminded me of my dadi maa and it  can be clearly seen that they are “financially” poor.

But after I interacted with them I felt they are the richest of them all, I was so wrong.

Initially I felt bad by looking at them and offered a Rs.10 note just to give them. The lady said “give 2 rupees more” .

I was surprised!!

Then I gave Rs.5 coin and she handed over me a eggs. Basically they are selling eggs. They have 1-2 pairs of chicken at home and that’s the only source of income. The eggs were wrapped in a woolen cap which she removed from her bag very carefully. I took all the eggs she had.

They “Sold” it to me. Lady was partially blind. They took the money I gave and said to each other lets eat fruits today, She bought one apple and 2 oranges.

What an experience that was, They are the richest people I met.
