He Said: “All she did was go home one week to meet her parents. That is all. I had fallen in love with her. If I had seen her profile on a dating app, I would have thought there was this girl who was pretty and innocent and shy, I would have swiped right. I would have reached out. But quiet? Gosh, would I have been wrong! She could talk all day, all week, all month, and she still wouldn’t be done! So I fell in love, and counted down the days till we would be together. When we decided to get married, we heard all kinds of stories. Someone even claimed I took money from her father to marry her! I couldn’t help but laugh. She never gave up on us. People ask what my idea of a perfect vacation is, and my answer is simple- ‘Wherever she is, with her around me’.”

She Said: “Though I was born with a deformity, I had the huge support and love of my family and am a strong independent woman. We met through a common friend and hit it off quite well. Back then, he used to work a night job and go to college in the day, but miraculously made time for us. We both are very different from each other. Soon enough, we left the city for our education but kept in touch. Our friendship grew into love. In 2016, we decided to get married. When we walk in public, we often get stared at. Some people look at us weirdly, others with pity. The truth is, disability does not bind us. Instead, it is our individuality that keeps us together.”
