“In the year 1994, I met with a major accident which changed the course of my life. I was travelling in a bus and had placed my hand on the window of the bus. Suddenly our bus tried to overtake a vehicle and at the same time a truck filled with big slabs of sharp stones was coming from the other hand and somehow bus driver’s judgement went wrong and in a moment one of those pointed stone pierced into my hand which was placed on window and took it away. There was a numb feeling on the right side of my hand and soon I realised that my right hand was missing and blood was discharging like a flowing river.
I told bus driver to stop the bus and went down and ran to find my hand in hot summer with blood stains on my clothes. After a few minutes I saw my hand so I picked it up and came back to bus, soon all the passengers ripped down the curtains and tied it around my elbow to stop the discharge of blood and my right hand was placed with the ice to stop it from getting infected. Luckily there was a doctor in the bus and he took me to the nearby hospital and gave me some lifesaving injections so that I don’t get infected either. Later, I was brought back to the city and was shifted to one of the famous hospital in the city but unfortunately my hand was damaged with gangrene and couldn’t be operated anymore and I was made to accept that I would have to live my entire life without right hand. I took this very positively and decided to accept the God’s decision and since then I have changed the way I look at life and have been enjoying my life to the fullest.
Today, I can do everything from writing to driving to dancing to doing adventurous activities. I also have a desire to travel around the world in car by driving it on my own and I will fulfil it any cost.
Any Message?
Never give up.”
