Life Story: My Parents Got Married With The Consent Of The Family But Life Was Unfair To Them

It is a story of a woman who lived with Strength to strive and survive for her kids. She spent all her childhood in small towns and villages of Chattisgarh (Madhya Pradesh then). Little did she know about her world outside her home and village. Her life surrounded only with her father, mother and brother. Completed her 12th and just joined her B.Com. Ambitious to be in a bank as that’s what her mother told her. Luck, as always is unpredictable and took a turn and she lost her father. Just in the last of her teen’s she took up the compassionate job on behalf of her father who worked in Railways. Moved to Nagpur the Second capital of Maharashtra from her rural areas in M.P. Learning to cope up with the work and living a new life when a young boy little older to her age spotted her. Belonging to the same cast, and an eligible bachelor they got married with the consent of the families. Blessed with two little girls the family was happy.

Life is unfair to some, her husband got detected with Cancer, diagnosed after a month or two in the final stage and no medical option of treatment available to him. He left her just within a couple of months. Two girls, orthodox Indian Society and a single mother. Ever penny she earned she saved, every extra mile she went to earn hard for her kids. She got them the best schooling and best of education options available. She was alone, still she was strong. She was stronger than the iron, she lived by her principals and she lived for her children’s smile. She lived for the little happiness that she got from her kids growing, bounded by the society and their norms she never thought of herself. She lived selflessly. Made her girls independent and looked for a good husband for their future. She stood by them breaking the society’s barrier to go ahead and get them settled well.

Little did she know, about her life, and the lives U Turn’s, she was herself diagnosed with a deadly disease called as ILD. They say oxygen is free and for all, but she paid for it as she couldn’t breathe normally. She took the toll of the disease and lived life for a couple of years before she surrendered to the disease. She lived strongly without asking even for a single penny, she lived selflessly for everyone who lived in the society, be it family, be it friends. She was the iron lady of my life, who has left her place and had a big impact on my life.
