“Spotted her at around 11 in the night.

Me: Aren’t you scared of being in the train so late to sell these incense sticks?
Manisha: No, in fact I only sell them in First Class Coaches. It’s safe and I get a lot of respect.”

Manisha is brave, hardworking and inspiring lady, certainly will motivate us in many levels with her ‘never give up’ attitude. As much as this is inspiring this hits the hard truth about India and Indian society.

Any Job should be safe for women in India, we need to build a society were we would not ask such basic questions to a lady who is earning an honest living.

Why only she sells in 1st class? Why people respect her who are in first class? We all may know the answers to these questions but need to think deep if we want equanimity and safety for us all and how can we achieve it. Let us all become 1st class citizens of this country, respecting and encouraging others.
