My Story: Don’t Be A Part Of A Rat Race And Call It A Life. Life Is Moments Shared With Your Loved Ones

“I have spent all my life between patients and students because I am a Doctor and at the same time as a professor I have taught in many reputed medical colleges of the city. It is a known fact that job of a Doctor is very demanding and you have to make lot of sacrifices on the family front. We both love travelling and had a long bucket list but during the initial years it was very tough to think about travelling as the job needs your constant attention. Travelling for us only meant visiting places nearby Gujarat and that too for few days. We would send our kids for different travel expeditions but as a couple it wasn’t possible for us to travel. Somewhere back in my mind I knew that I wanted to travel the world with my better half and give a check on our long pending bucket list so once our kids got settled in their life we decided to travel the world. We started with Dubai and then went to United States of America and South Africa and Europe and the list continues. We have also travelled extensively to major parts of our country. We are those rare couple who in their 60’s is doing activities like Sky Diving and Bungee Jumping and next on the list is Scuba Diving. Traveling together as a couple has strengthened our friendship, deepened our trust for one another, and built a solid foundation of mutual respect. Traveling has become part of our lives and definitely changed us as a couple. It gave us a profound sense that we are just a tiny part of this big world.

Don’t be a part of a rat race and call it a life. Life is moments shared with your loved ones. Every once in a while take out some time to travel with your loved ones and believe me it will change you mentally.”
