My Story: After Thirty Years Of Our Marriage Life He Died. At His Last Moment He Said I Am The Best Wife

“In childhood I loved to read story books and faithfully believed on those. But I never knew that life could be way more fictitious than stories. In the first day of my class five’s final exam my father entered into my study room. I was always frightened of him. My father and my three brothers never allowed me to do things I always wanted. I need to abide everything they asked me to do. That day my father said he had fixed my wedding and I should get married to a man who was fifteen years older than me. My mother died during my birth. I had no idea what marriage is like. That evening I got married.

At my departure my father said, I am the best daughter. When I came to my husband’s house he declared I should not go to school anymore. My husband wanted me to work in his backyard and asked me to look after his paralyzed parents. I did everything he wanted. After thirty years of our marriage life he died. At his last moment he said I am the best wife and I should respect his decision that was he has given all his property to our sons.

Within seven days of his death my three sons took control of the home I had. I did not say anything and packed my bag, no one asked me to stay. I went to my brother’s place to seek for a place to live. After seeing me they were very afraid. No one asked me how I was and at that night they brought a paper to me. My late father had given all his property to his sons; they said as a daughter I have no right on his asset. Next day, I leave all of them.

Last five years I worked very hard, I worked day and night but this time for myself. Now I live alone of my own. I built a small house for me. Now I earn for myself, I live for myself. I have to love and value myself first that is what I learn after 45 years.”
