Yashyashvi Landge, daughter of Mumbai constable Raju Landge, achieved remarkable success at the 9th Asian Goju-ryu Karate Championship 2025 by winning a gold medal in the individual kumite event and two bronze medals in individual kata and team kumite categories.
This 21-year-old athlete, with over 15 years of karate experience, is currently pursuing a master’s degree in commerce while aspiring to join civil services and continue excelling in karate both as a competitor and referee. The Andheri police station, where her father serves, honoured her for bringing pride to their community with these stellar accomplishments.

Yashyashvi’s journey began when she took up karate training in the 4th standard, steadily progressing to achieve a second-degree black belt.
