Ratan Tata’s recent will, revealed after his passing on October 9, 2024, showcases his extraordinary compassion by including provisions for his beloved dog, Tito, along with his butler and household staff. His estate, valued over ₹10,000 crore, will support family members and the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation (RTEF) for charitable initiatives. A Heartfelt Legacy 

In a touching testament to his love for animals, Ratan Tata ensured that Tito, his cherished German Shepherd, will receive “unlimited” care through a dedicated fund. Adopted five years ago, Tito has been a source of joy for Tata. The will also provides for Subbiah, his loyal butler of 30 years, and Rajan Shaw, the cook entrusted with Tito’s care. Tata’s estate includes multiple properties and stakes in Tata Group companies, with a significant portion directed towards the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation to continue his philanthropic work.
