There is no love stronger, more lasting, devoted and selfless than a mother’s love. A mother who starts loving even before she sees the baby, the epitome of unconditional love.
Despite all this, parents are neglected and treated terribly by some. Unfortunately, verbal abuse is most common. But, some people cross all lines of morality with brutal, physical abuse.
An incident has come to light from Delhi where a son allegedly pushed his mother from the second floor of their house.
In the video, while the son claims that it was a drunk tenant who pushed her, a neighbour who is filming the video asks her if her son verbally and physically abuses her. She says he is. The video was posted by the founder of The Voice Raiser, Kundan Srivastava who featured it on his website and brought it to everyone’s attention.
The Logical Indian tried reaching the police for a comment and was informed that there was no such case lodged at the Shahdara station. It was later found out that the complaint was retracted by the mother.
We also reached out to Kundan, who said that the neighbours of the woman, sent the video to him. He also told us that due to pressure from her son, Rajindari Devi retracted her complaint.
Here is what Kundan posted on his Facebook page along with the video:
This elderly woman is ‘Rajindari Devi’ resident of Gali No. 8, Subhash Park, Shahdara, Delhi – 110032. On November 24, 2016, her son Nand Kishore (Nandu) brutally thrashed her to kill, but she was saved somehow. He always used to take her rental income, abused and beat her every day.
As of now, no action has been taken by Police & Authority. Neighbours who’re complainant of this incident being disturbed by Police. As reported by Neighbours today to The Voice Raiser.
She has been suffering a lot. We urge Authorities and the Delhi Government to look into this case. HOW SHAMELESS?
UPDATES: The old lady has taken back her complaint made at Shahdara police station due to pressure of her son and the police. WOOW! Great shameless Job by Delhi Police
