A woman welfare officer posted at the Gandhi Seva Niketan Ashram in Chak Dhaurashra in Raebareli district of Uttar Pradesh alleged that a group of students attacked her at the behest of Ashram’s administration.
Mamata Dubey, the victim while filing a complaint with the District Magistrate, said that the manager of the institution provoked the students to beat and abuse her. “I was hit with chairs and slapped by children”, Mamata told the reporters.

The CCTV cameras installed at Ashram recorded the entire incident. However, the reason for administration provoking the student to beat the officer is still unknown. Mamata said that the administration has been troubling her for quite some time now. She alleged that two days ago she was locked in the washroom. She blamed the students for the mischievous act.
“When I spoke to the authorities about it, they said that children can do whatever they want. When I went there after two days, I was beaten by the children,” she added.
