In a rather bizarre turn of events, a motivational Guru walked out of an event, where he was supposed to deliver a speech.

The incident took place on Sunday (30 June) during the last day of ‘Raj Medicon 2019’ event organised jointly by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) and All Rajasthan In Service Doctors Association (ARISDA). The event was organised at Birla Auditorium in Jaipur.

The condition that Swami had put

Swami Gyanvatsal, the motivational speaker had put forward the condition of no female attendant in the first three rows. When the lady doctors, those attending the function were told about the condition, they started protesting against the same. As the other doctors came to know about it, even they joined the protest.

Some doctors were of the opinion that Swami Gyanvatsal’s speech should be boycotted. Later, the issue was resolved after discussions between raging doctors and the organisers. They finally decided that the first two rows shall be left vacant.

The backstage drama

Zee News reported that the moment the motivational guru arrived at backstage, he asked the organisers to make the announcement that no woman shall sit in the first three rows. One of the lady doctors, Dr Ritu Chaudhary, while talking to Zee News said that some of the woman doctors were sitting in the front row, while many others were sitting in the first three rows.

She also said that while the doctors were waiting for the arrival of Swami Gyanvatsal, they suddenly came across the announcement that asked female attendees to vacant the first seven rows.

After a few seconds, it was announced that women could not sit in the first three rows. Dr Ritu when asked about the reason behind, she was told that this is the protocol of Swami Gyanvatsal.

Though it left her and the other doctors startled, they anyway thought of following the protocol as the speeches delivered by Swami are always good. Dr Ritu stated that even though the female doctors agreed to Swami Gyanvatsal’s demand, he still decided to walk out of the venue without proceeding with the speech.

Meanwhile, a senior ARISDA official Dr Ajay Chaudhary said that Swami Gyanvatsal left because of the presence of women in the front rows.
