Bengaluru cops have arrested the managing director of a private security firm in the city on October 15 after videos of him assaulting two security guards went viral on the social media.

In the videos which were shared widely, Salim Khan, the director can be seen standing on the neck of one of the men while he mercilessly begs to let him go. He can be seen pushing his boots against the faces of two of the employees.

The guard can be heard pleading their innocence to Salim while he is beating them in an inhumane manner.

Salim was allegedly assaulting his employees over a mistake they had committed. In the video, Salim can be seen asking, “Who told you to do it?” while assaulting them. One of the workers can be heard replying “ No sir. Won’t do it ever again in my life, sir.”

While Salim continued to mercilessly assault them, a man outside the frame can be heard trying to calm down the assaulter.

In a separate video, one of the guards can be heard, “beat me, but I don’t know sir,” while Salim presses his boot on the guard’s face.

However, Salim had a different story to tell. According to a Deccan Herald report, Salim claimed that both the security guards were concocting to abduct Salim as he didn’t pay them.

The police told the reporters that they have registered a suo motu case against Salim after the videos went viral. The cops have booked Salim and five others under section 307 (attempt to murder).

The cops are mulling to write a letter to authorities to cancel Salim’s security agency license citing his criminal background. Several criminal cases have been filed against him in the past.

Salim Khan’s security firm, Bangalore Security Force, is located in the city’s HSR Layout.
