As Delhites are desperately searching for fresh and uncontaminated air, this peculiar little restaurant located in Delhi’s Saket, has come to rescue, providing people with pure oxygen, quite literally! That too in seven different aromas.
Given the rarity of fresh air in the national capital, Oxy Pure bar charges consumers Rs 299 – for 15 minutes!
The seven different aromas include lemongrass, orange, cinnamon, spearmint, peppermint, eucalyptus and lavender – you can choose as you please.
According to their website, visitors are given a “selection of aromas or flavours” and the benefits of each are explained to them. The user can switch flavours at any time.
The management also claims that the therapy will prevent ‘sexual dysfunction, weight loss, depression, sleeping disorders, memory problems, and hangovers’.
The inhalation process takes place on a recliner or similar comfortable seat with a cannula (a flexible tube that splits into two small prongs) fitted loosely around the head and the prongs resting just inside the nostrils to deliver the oxygen.
Oxygen- Need Of The Moment
Launched in May this year, Oxy Pure bar believes that pure air is the need of the moment in Delhi.
Delhi citizens could use some more restaurants like this, as the pollution dipped to a new low on Tuesday coming under the ‘severe level and beyond’ once again. The government cautioned people against taking up any outdoor activity.
The Air Quality Index data recorded major pollutants, PM 2.5 and PM 10, at 456 (severe) and 287 (poor), respectively, in central Delhi region.
The situation has been ongoing for the past few weeks despite government provisions such as Odd-Even scheme, a temporary ban on construction activities, among others.
