Bihar will host the Khelo India Youth Games 2025, as announced by Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya following the successful Women’s Asian Champions Trophy in Rajgir. The announcement was made after India’s women’s hockey team triumphed over China, with a goal from Deepika securing a 1-0 victory. Mandaviya praised the Bihar government for its successful organisation of the tournament and highlighted the importance of developing sports culture in the state. “Sports are being encouraged in Bihar,” he stated, noting that preparations for the games are already underway.
