Background: Rigorous Evaluation and Student-Friendly Measures

The board exams were held from March 3 to March 26, 2025, across 1,999 centres, including Gulf-region locations. A double valuation system for core subjects ensured fairness. Students must score at least 30% in each subject to pass.

Those who did not pass all subjects can apply for the Save-A-Year (SAY) supplementary exams, and details for revaluation and improvement exams will be published soon. The board does not release individual toppers’ lists to promote a healthy academic environment.

The Logical Indian’s Perspective

Kerala’s transparent and inclusive approach to result declaration, with robust digital and alternative access, sets a benchmark for educational equity. The achievements of girls and the availability of multiple result-checking methods reflect progress and commitment to student well-being.

As we celebrate these milestones, let us consider how to further support every learner’s unique journey. How can Kerala’s model inspire reforms nationwide for greater empathy, opportunity, and holistic growth?
