A 28-year-old woman, Shaila, was allegedly murdered by her husband, Akshay, near Ballurga village in Karnataka on Thursday morning. While traveling to the Ganagapura pilgrimage site, an argument reportedly broke out, leading Akshay to assault Shaila in public an act captured on video by passersby.
Despite brief intervention from witnesses, Akshay later drove his Maruti Suzuki Ertiga over Shaila in a nearby field, killing her.
