Israel Warns Iranians to Avoid Trains for the Next 12 Hours Amid Threat of Escalating Strikes

Israel issued a Persian warning urging Iranian civilians to avoid trains, signaling possible imminent strikes on Iran’s rail infrastructure amid the ongoing US‑Israel conflict.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2026, the Israeli military issued an “urgent advisory” in Persian, warning Iranian civilians to avoid trains and railway infrastructure nationwide until 9:00 PM local time. The warning, shared via social media platforms, explicitly stated that being present on trains or near tracks would put lives at risk, suggesting imminent strikes on Iran’s transport network.

This development follows a joint US-Israeli offensive that began in February and has recently intensified with strikes on petrochemical plants and missile sites. While Israel describes the move as a safety precaution for non-combatants, the advisory underscores a significant escalation in the conflict, targeting state infrastructure to disrupt military mobility and economic stability

Strategic Strikes and Civilian Safety

The advisory, issued by IDF Persian-language spokesperson Lt. Col. (res.) Kamal Penhasi, was clear in its directive: “For your safety, we request that from this moment… you refrain from using and traveling by train across Iran.”
Defense Minister Israel Katz further reinforced the military’s stance, stating that the IDF has been instructed to “continue striking with full force the national infrastructure of the Iranian terror regime.”

Military analysts suggest that targeting railway junctions and bridges is intended to paralyze the Iranian regime’s ability to move reinforcements and hardware between Tehran and outlying provinces.

However, the human cost remains high; reports from the ground indicate that recent strikes in residential areas like Pardis have already resulted in civilian casualties, including children, highlighting the terrifying reality for families caught in the crossfire of geopolitical maneuvering.

A Region on the Brink

This latest warning comes amidst a total diplomatic deadlock. Tehran recently rejected a US-backed 45-day ceasefire proposal, maintaining its demand for a permanent end to hostilities and comprehensive security guarantees. The conflict, now in its sixth week, has expanded significantly since the February 28 offensive that claimed the life of former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Beyond the borders of Israel and Iran, the instability has disrupted global energy markets and aviation, with missile activity reported across the Gulf and the temporary closure of key links like the King Fahd Causeway.

With US President Donald Trump setting tight deadlines for Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the threat of “expanded strikes” on power plants and civil infrastructure looms large, pushing the Middle East toward an unprecedented humanitarian and economic crisis.

The Logical Indian’s Perspective

At The Logical Indian, we believe that the escalating rhetoric and the targeting of civilian infrastructure represent a harrowing departure from the path of humanity. While military advisories are framed as “safety warnings,” they often serve as tools of psychological warfare, leaving millions of innocent civilians in a state of perpetual fear and displacement.

War never offers a permanent solution; it only sows the seeds of future resentment and further cycles of violence. We advocate for an immediate cessation of hostilities and a return to the negotiating table.

Peace is not merely the absence of war, but the presence of justice and a commitment to coexistence. True strength lies in the courage to choose dialogue over destruction and empathy over escalation.
