I Was Really Upset When My Last Relationship Ended

❝ I was really upset when my last relationship ended. I’d lost hope on the idea of real love and began to think that it’s something you build in your head, but really it’s a piece of shit that doesn’t exist — basically I gave up.
This had been going on for a few, when I met someone through a friend and I don’t know if you’ve ever felt this, but I felt like I’ve already known him for years. That’s the thing, when you’re in a bad phase you think it’s the end — but it’s not. This relationship is so much better than anything else I’ve been in and I had no idea what love was before. I’ve always been a hopeless romantic and to think that I almost lost myself to something as trivial as a ‘bad phase’ is scary. So, I got this tattoo – a crescent moon, to always remind myself of a ‘new phase’ that’s just around the corner.❞
