“I have been playing Ravana for more than 20 years now. I am bored of it, and there isn’t any good money in it either.

But I do it for the audience. All the eyes are on me when I am on stage, little kids get to know what evil means, they laugh when I get beaten down. I feel happy when I see everyone cheering for Ram and Laxman over my dead body.

That’s the moment I get to know that I did a good job  and this feeling brings me back every year to play Ravana again and again.”
