I was travelling from Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad on 8th March 2016 in train 12931 (Double Decker). I was reserved in C7 – seat no 10. The journey was smooth but somehow the window glass was very dirty and I was not able to see outside views due to a thick layer of dust.

I tweeted to Suresh Prabhu regarding the same. I had suggested in my tweet to take stock of the situation. Within Minutes, I got a reply from the railway department saying that as the train was on board (on the way) they would reach me at the Valsad station.

To my surprise, people were there to clean it up even two stations before. After this, the train arrived at the Valsad station and the Manager came in & asked me to talk to someone on the phone – he was the highest authority of Western Railways to whom I spoke on the phone. He humbly asked me whether my problem got solved or not.

What else? the train stopped at various stations after Vapi and teams at all stations were ready to clean my window & supervisors of stations came to meet me to ask whether I needed more help or not. I am really impressed by the working of Indian railways under Suresh Prabhu, who’s ready to reach us just with a single tweet.

The Logical Indian community appreciates the alertness of Railway Ministry and also hopes that the Indian railway reaches to a new height in the coming years.
