How People In Paris Helped Each Other During The Terrorist Attack

More than 150 people were killed in a series of terror attacks in Paris on Friday when the assailants open fired in different locations throughout the city.

The Twitter hashtag #PorteOuverte, which means “open door” in English, is being used to offer shelter to people as authorities urged people to evacuate the streets.

One tweet among the several thousand tweets that has caught attention is by Rohan Singh Kalsi. He wrote:

Facebook also launched a safety check which can enable people to connect to their friends and relatives in Paris and know that they are safe. The ‘mark yourself safe’ feature notifies all friends that the person in the affected area is safe.

 

The Logical Indian community stands in solidarity with the people of Paris and prays that the situation is brought under control as soon as possible and those responsible brought to justice.
