HYDERABAD: In two separate videos being shared on WhatsApp, five men can be seen posing for the camera as they take turns to gang-rape a woman. The woman can be seen pleading to let her go.

The video, was discovered by rape survivor and social activist Sunitha Krishnan , who runs an anti-trafficking NGO, Prajwala, in Hyderabad. Sunitha posted the video on YouTube yesterday. One of the video was removed from YouTube  moments back. As per YouTube, it violated their community guidelines. She started a national campaign “#ShameTheRapists” to shame the rapists and get them punished.

“These rapist have posted the videos of them raping/sexually assaulting women on ‘whatsup’(I have checked they are not enacted videos). I have taken the liberty of protecting the identity of the victim. They are prowling around and are a threat to any woman or child. Please help us trace them. We need to nationally shame them and then hand them to the authorities.  I don’t know how many people saw these videos and remained silent.  WE WILL NOT.”, says Sunitha.
